As a leading insurance broker, we are seeking a visionary Manager of Business Development to drive our General Insurance initiatives across all lines, including Property, Casualty, Employee Benefits, and more. This pivotal role is essential for attracting new customers, building strong client relationships, and enhancing retention strategies.
Your New Role
- Formulate and execute a forward-thinking strategic plan to attract new customers and enhance client relationships across all lines of General Insurance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, consumer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify new growth opportunities and drive business expansion.
- Lead marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones, developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate key value propositions and drive customer engagement.
- Drive cross-selling and up-selling activities within current client base
- Account management and support on client requests
Your Background
- 5+ years within insurance broking, with a proven track record in business development, particularly focusing on General Insurance lines; Property, Casualty, SME Package and Employee Benefits.
- Significant experience in business development, customer acquisition and account management.
- Market Acumen: Familiarity with the Hong Kong insurance market and clientele
- Multilingual Proficiency: Exceptional communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin are essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
