My client is seeking for a Senior Underwriting Manager in a leading insurance company. This role is vital in supervising the underwriting team and enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will play a key part in driving strategic initiatives and improving underwriting processes.
Your New Role
- Experienced underwriter specialized within Life & Health Insurance business
- Supervise and lead the underwriting team to achieve KPIs and enhance operational efficiency and HNW Life cases
- Drive strategic projects, including Company Campaigns, Digital Initiatives, and compliance requirements.
- Review and analyze new insurance applications for risk exposure and compliance with guidelines.
- Conduct training for internal/external customers and mentor team members in underwriting practices.
Your Background
- Degree holder with professional insurance qualifications (FLMI, ACS, ALU, or equivalent) and a minimum of 10 years of underwriting experience
- Demonstrated track record within HNW Underwriting Cases for high-net-worth clients and identify EM Risks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data to support sound decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to compliance and ethics.
- Proficient in Chinese, English, and Mandarin
