Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining the branch compliance management system, delivering daily compliance advice, pre-transaction reviews, and regular staff training
• Leading internal control assessments and preparing internal control evaluation reports
• Drafting, updating, and coordinating branch-level policies and procedures
• Managing regulatory reporting, examinations, and ongoing communication with the HKMA and other authorities
• Overseeing case prevention, employee behavior screening, and anti-money laundering controls

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5–8 years of compliance or internal control experience within commercial banking
• In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong’s financial regulatory environment and HKMA supervisory requirements
• Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and influencing skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and coordinate across departments
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
