My client is one of the leading corporate bank. They are currently looking for a Internal Control Manager to oversee and enhance the bank's internal control environment, with a strong emphasis on IT controls within their financial and operational systems.
Your New Role
- Designing, implementing, and monitoring internal control frameworks to mitigate risks across banking processes, focusing on IT systems, data security, and transaction integrity
- Conducting regular assessments of IT controls, including access management, cybersecurity protocols, data privacy, and system reliability, to ensure compliance with banking regulations such as SOX, Basel III, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborating with 1st line business units (e.g., corporate banking and operations) and 3rd line internal audit functions to identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and facilitate remediation efforts.
- Developing and delivering training programs on internal controls, with a spotlight on IT-related risks and best practices tailored to the banking sector.
Your Background
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are highly valued.
- 5+ years of experience in internal controls, risk management, or internal audit within the banking or financial services industry, with proven expertise in IT controls (e.g., IT general controls, application controls, and cybersecurity assessments in banking systems).
- Strong preference for CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification; additional credentials like CIA, CRISC, or CPA are advantageous.
- Candidates from consulting background are welcomed
