Hong Kong SFC-licensed asset manager specializing in ETFs and alternatives. This dynamic firm is focused on delivering innovative investment strategies while maintaining the highest standards of risk governance and regulatory excellence in one of Asia’s most vibrant financial hubs.
Your New Role
You will build and oversee a robust enterprise risk framework that aligns with the firm’s investment strategies, SFC regulatory requirements, and emerging risks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting on market risk (VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis, liquidity) and operational risk (RCSAs, KRIs, incident management, control effectiveness).
- Developing and enforcing risk policies, limits, and governance structures while supporting new product launches and ensuring full compliance with the SFC Fund Manager Code of Conduct.
- Conducting risk assessments for business initiatives and leveraging AI/ML tools to drive advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and automation of risk processes.
Your Background
- 5-8+ years of comprehensive risk management experience (market, operational, and financial) gained at asset managers or banks, with essential exposure to SFC-authorized products
- Proficient in risk platforms such as Murex and have strong technical skills in Python, R, SQL, and AI tools (including generative models for scenario generation). FRM or CFA qualifications are preferred
