Introducing Your New Opportunity
We are working with a multinational financial institution to appoint a senior technology audit and assurance leader into a APAC IT audit Lead position. This mandate sits at the heart of the organisation’s internal audit function and carries end-to-end responsibility for setting direction across technology audit, risk oversight, and assurance.
Your New Role

Set the vision and roadmap for IT audit and technology assurance at regional level, defining how audit coverage, methodology, and capability evolve over the coming years.

Act as a key adviser to Boards and senior executive forums on technology and digital risk, providing clear, independent perspectives on control effectiveness, resilience, and governance.

Take overall responsibility for audit activity across the technology landscape, spanning core platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management and privacy, AI and advanced analytics and etc.
Your Background
-
Significant track record in senior IT audit, technology risk, or internal audit leadership roles, ideally within sizeable, complex, and regulated institutions.

Comfortable operating at Board and Executive Committee level, with the confidence to challenge, influence, and shape thinking on technology risk and control.

Broad familiarity with technology and operational risk domains, including cyber, data, outsourcing, resilience, and transformation, underpinned by strong knowledge of risk, control, and governance frameworks.

Professional audit and technology risk credentials (for example CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA, CPA or similar) together with a visible commitment to staying current on emerging and digital risk topics.
