Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Responsible Officer (RO) to join our client and take a leading role in the oversight and management of its ETF products.
In this senior position you will:
- Oversee the full product lifecycle of existing and future ETF offerings, ensuring strong performance, operational excellence and full regulatory compliance.
- Provide strategic guidance on ETF structuring, benchmarking, risk management, tracking error optimisation and cost efficiency.
- Ensure ongoing adherence to all SFC requirements for ETF issuers.
- Act as a key regulatory liaison for ETF-related matters.

Your Background
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience working with or at ETF issuers / asset management firms focused on ETF products. Experience in the Hong Kong or Asian ETF market is highly desirable.
- Solid, hands-on experience in managing ETF products, including product launch, ongoing portfolio management, index tracking, rebalancing and performance monitoring.
- In-depth knowledge of the SFC regulatory framework governing ETF issuers.
- The ability and eligibility to be approved and registered as a Responsible Officer (RO) by the SFC for relevant regulated activities (ideally Type 9 Asset Management). Candidates must fully satisfy the SFC’s fit and proper guidelines with a clean record and demonstrable industry experience.
