Introducing Your New Opportunity

An insurance company is hiring a highly experienced Finance Professional to provide strategic financial advice to the Executive Management Team, overseeing the finance function and being the appointed Key Person for the company.  They are now seeking for a Head of Finance.

Your New Role

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy
• Ensure proper accounting treatment, data integrity, and compliance with all legal, statutory, and regulatory financial reporting requirements
• Manage the company's finance operations, including FP&A, fund management, IFRS, and financial reporting
• Management of Finance Department and Team, provide guidance, coaching and career planning with existing and new staff members
• Work closely with Actuarial, Compliance, Risk, Operations and Legal functions
• Improve financial processes and efficiency, while providing timely and accurate financial information for actuarial and risk analysis           
• Establish and maintain an effective control environment, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in business transformation initiatives to build a strong finance organization

Your Background

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
• 10+ years of business experience in finance, including financial control exposure, along with HKICPA, ACCA, or comparable qualifications
• Demonstrated understanding of the Life Insurance business, finance function values, and control
• Meet the "Fit and Proper" criteria as stipulated by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority – GL4
