A dynamic and progressive Global Insurance organization with a solid presence in Asia is on the lookout for a strategic Regional IT Security Lead. In this influential position, you'll oversee IT architecture, cybersecurity, and operations at the Group Office while providing expert support to Local Business Units across Asia, driving collaboration, innovation, and robust governance in a fast-evolving AI & Digital landscape.

 

Your New Role

  • Direct and oversee regional IT & cybersecurity operations, delivering high levels of resilience, regulatory compliance, efficiency, and alignment with enterprise-wide standards.
  • Act as the organization’s representative in critical technology committees, working groups, and industry forums across the region, spotting synergy opportunities, facilitating team connections, and ensuring tangible results from joint efforts.
  • Deliver targeted, hands-on advisory and execution support for key strategic projects and priority initiatives at local business units.
  • Engage and collaborate closely with senior leaders and operational teams across regional entities, local operations, and group functions to ensure IT architecture and security strategies fully support business priorities across Asia Pacific
  • Promote and accelerate the implementation of forward-looking IT Security approaches

 

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, professional certifications strongly preferred, ie CISSP, CISA.
  • 10+ years in IT Security Leadership within Financial Services
  • Exposure within the Insurance sector and working closely with IT Vendors
  • Comprehensive knowledge of established security standards, advanced cybersecurity practices, modern enterprise architecture principles and IT governance frameworks 
  • Significant practical experience across the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Executive level communication skills; fluent in English and Chinese
