We are helping a insurance group to identify a talented Systems Analyst for a key position within their technology function.
Your New Role
- Take ownership of day-to-day system maintenance and enhancement activities, ensuring core business applications remain stable, performant, and aligned to evolving operational needs.
- Translate business requirements into clearly defined technical specifications, coordinating with internal teams and external service providers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Proactively manage and prioritise a pipeline of system change requests, balancing urgency, business impact, and available capacity.
- Build, test, and deploy software enhancements and new functionality across a range of business applications, adhering to established development and security standards.
- Establish and execute thorough testing protocols — including system, integration, and user acceptance testing — to validate quality before deployment.
Your Background
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least five years of practical experience in application or systems development, with proven proficiency across enterprise platforms, relational databases, and object-oriented programming languages.
- Solid industry experience within insurance or financial services, ideally with familiarity across core policy or operations platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese; Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency is a must.
