Our client is a local investment manager.

Your New Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join the team in Hong Kong. You will cover macro markets and traditional financial products, playing a key role in investment research, risk assessment, and product development while collaborating closely with the core investment team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Conducting fundamental research on macro markets including the US, Hong Kong, and China, as well as listed companies across different sectors.
• Monitoring market trends and identifying investment ideas.
• Preparing high-quality research reports, investment strategies, and recommendations.
• Supporting the Portfolio Manager with portfolio analysis, optimisation, and management.
• Executing trades and placing orders across equities, bonds, futures, and options.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
• Approximately 3+ years of solid full-time research or investment experience at financial institutions (e.g., securities firms, fund houses, futures companies, asset management firms, or private banks).
• Proven track record in macro and financial markets research, with exposure to equities, bonds, and derivatives.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or VBA).
