A leading APAC Insurance company specializing with strong commercial prospects is current growing their business in Hong Kong. Committed to operational excellence, regulatory integrity, and customer-centricity, the company seeking a Director of Operational Governance.

Your New Role

• Oversee AML/non-AML regulatory controls and ensuring compliant procedures and SOPs
• Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments, fraud reviews, and thematic evaluations, coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries and audits.
• Develop and execute quality assurance programs to assess control effectiveness and operational consistency, leveraging data analytics for enhancements.
• Lead data governance and analytics initiatives, maintaining critical data elements and delivering risk/compliance reports for governance committees.
• Manage the Customer Relationship team to resolve regulator-related complaints efficiently, ensuring high-quality service across multiple channels.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline with 10+ years of experience in life insurance operations, focusing on risk and compliance.
• Deep knowledge of AML/CTF, FATCA, CRS, HKIA, AMCM, BMA guidelines, Data Privacy,
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging C-suite executives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese, with a proactive approach to driving change and teamwork under pressure.
